Convert between the most popular image formats with full quality control.
Tap Choose from Photos or Choose from Files, select one or more images, choose your format, quality, and size, then tap Save to Photos, Save to Files, or Share.
Image Converter Plus supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, and TIFF. You can also combine multiple images into a single PDF. PDF, AVIF, and TIFF require Pro.
Yes. Select multiple images when importing from Photos or Files. With Pro, you can convert an unlimited batch at once. Free users can convert one image at a time.
Converted images go wherever you choose. Save to Photos adds them to your Photo Library. Save to Files lets you pick a folder. Share sends them to another app. You can also view past conversions in the History tab.
Tap the Format menu and choose from JPEG, PDF, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, or TIFF. Keep Original keeps the same format as your source. PDF, AVIF, and TIFF require Pro.
Use the Quality slider or tap a preset (Low, Medium, High, Maximum). Higher quality means larger files. Quality applies to JPEG, WebP, HEIC, and AVIF. PNG and TIFF are always lossless.
Yes. Tap the Size control to choose Small (50%), Original (100%), or Large (200%). Reducing size makes files significantly smaller. Enlarging won't improve image clarity.
With Pro, tap any image thumbnail to set a different format, quality, size, or name for just that image. Other images keep the batch settings.
Photos contain hidden data like GPS location, date taken, camera model, and device info. Removing this protects your privacy when sharing images online.
With Pro, tap Privacy and enable Location Data. This removes GPS coordinates and place names while keeping everything else.
Location Only removes just GPS data. Personal Metadata removes location, device info, captions, and edit history. All Metadata removes everything except essential appearance data. Custom lets you choose individual categories.
No. Every conversion happens on your device. We do not run a server that receives your photos, and our third-party services (Apple StoreKit, Adapty, Google AdMob, and Unity Ads) never receive image content. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Free users can choose to watch a short rewarded video ad to unlock a single batch conversion. Ads are never shown automatically, and you can dismiss the ad option at any time. Pro users never see ads.
That is Apple’s standard App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow it, Google AdMob and its mediation partners (such as Unity Ads) may use your device’s advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, only non-personalized ads are shown. The App works the same way either way. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking › Image Converter Plus.
Users in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and parts of the United States are shown a consent form (provided by Google’s User Messaging Platform) before any ad is loaded. The Manage Ad Choices entry in Settings lets you reopen that form and change your choices later. The option only appears in regions where it is required.
We do not run our own analytics. Adapty (purchase management) and Google AdMob with its mediation partner Unity Ads (free-tier ads) collect a small amount of anonymous information so they can verify subscriptions and measure ad performance — for example, anonymous device characteristics, ad-impression events, and aggregated diagnostics. None of this includes the content of your photos. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what each service receives.
You choose where to save. Save to Photos adds them to your Photo Library. Save to Files lets you pick a folder, including iCloud Drive and connected cloud services. Share opens the iOS share sheet for AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or any other app.
From any app, tap the share button, then choose Convert (you may need to scroll or tap More). The Share Extension uses your default preset. All processing stays on your device.
When enabled in Settings > Default Settings, formats like HEIC, AVIF, and TIFF are automatically converted to JPEG when you share. This ensures your images open on any device, including Android and older systems.
Presets are saved combinations of format, quality, size, and privacy settings. They let you quickly apply your favorite settings without adjusting each option.
Go to Settings > Presets. Tap Edit to drag presets into your preferred order. You can also hide presets you don't use.
Swipe left on any history item and tap Delete. Or tap Edit and select multiple items to delete at once.
Go to Settings > History Options and choose a timeframe: 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. Older conversions are automatically removed. Choose Never to keep everything.
Unlimited batch conversions, PDF, AVIF, and TIFF output formats, per-image setting overrides, all privacy and metadata removal options, and all presets including those with privacy controls.
Tap the Pro banner in Settings or tap any Pro-locked feature. Pro is available as a subscription (weekly, monthly, or annual) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are handled securely through the App Store.
Go to Settings, scroll to the Pro section, and tap Restore Purchases. This syncs your purchase if you bought Pro on another device or reinstalled the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID.
File size depends on image content. Photos with lots of detail compress less. Try reducing Quality or Size for smaller files. PNG format is lossless and typically larger than JPEG.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Image Converter Plus on your device and allow access. If storage is full, free up space or save to Files instead.
The file may be corrupted or in an unsupported format. Try opening it in Photos first. Also check that your device has enough free storage. If the issue persists, contact us at imageconverterplus.help@gmail.com.
Yes. All conversions happen on your device. No images are uploaded to any server. Your photos never leave your iPhone or iPad unless you share them yourself.
